Entered the Air Force in 1971 and spent a total of 24 years, most of it working as a photojournalist with Combat Camera after attending the Military Photojournalism Course at Syracuse University. Since retiring I've been a working photojournalist at The Messenger Newspaper in my hometown of Madisonville, Ky.
